(The term used for lost or abandoned fishing nets) Catastrophic to marine life, forget the reports, as no one knows how many, but we do know they are there as TEAA get harrowing pictures and videos of the various marine life that gets caught or captured in them, what may start as a simple game playing results in pain and just an awful death. We have witness ropes around a whale and nets around a turtle, dolphins caught up and seals entangled, the amounts are truly incalculable, but we have a plan. With fellow ocean users, sailors, crew, fishermen, divers any ocean user who comes across a “ghost net” could attach one of our FREE GPS tags so we can track n trace whilst monitoring the magnitude of the problems and start extracting them…….
